We work closely with the American Legion to advocate for veterans' rights and benefits, ensuring they receive the support they need. You can also Volunteer or become a member.
Our Vets Helping Vets program creates a supportive community for veterans to share their experiences and provide assistance to one another.
Collaborating with the Oregon Department of Veterans Affairs enables us to expand our reach and provide comprehensive services to veterans in the state.
Get your Service records from Archives.gov or by filling out the SF-180 and returning to your State Records Office by following instructions on form.
All Veterans exposed to toxins and other hazardous materials are now eligible to enroll in VA Healthcare.
Need to submit a compensation claim for a new condition that may be service related? Apply here.
Get additional local Veteran support from DAV such as attaining a Service Animal or Medical Transportation
Get additional local Veteran support from Local VFW Post 584, volunteer or become a member.
Guard Members in need of additional support for themselves and Families can contact SFRG for additional support and resources honed for them.
Military One Source is a general resource for Active, Guard and Reserve Service Members during and up to 1 year after separation.

My name is Kyle Frederick. I am a Medically Retired SSG from US Army. I started this Cost free program at Veteran Support Services (VSS) because I am passionate about assisting veterans in accessing the benefits they deserve. My focus is on connecting veterans with essential services such as VA Claim Support, VA Health Care, and VA Education Benefits.
